Diagnodent Laser System

This laser determines if decay is present on the chewing surface of your tooth.  The laser is held over the stained or suspicioius area if decay is present the laser will show a high number on the screen.  If the number is above 3.0 the tooth should be restored, if below 3.0 your tooth will be retested in six months.
