Dr. Ragoza graduated from the University of Connecticut where he completed his pre-medical studies and received a BS in Exercise Science in 2012. After discovering his passion for dentistry, he joined the class of 2016 at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ragoza went on to complete a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, in Bronx, NY.

Following his formal dental education, Dr. Ragoza facilitated his professional training at some of the world’s preeminent advanced dental education institutes, including the Pankey Institute, Spear Education, and Strupp & Brumm Seminars. He’s also a member of the American Equilibration Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Fairfield County Dental Club, Pankey Study Club, and Spear Study Club.

Dr. Ragoza has held several board positions and serves on the House of Delegates for the Connecticut State Dental Association. He’s a past president of the Bridgeport Dental Association and a board member of the Scarsdale Dental Society. Dr. Ragoza organizes continuing education courses with some of the most well-respected educators in the country for dentists in Fairfield and Westchester County. In 2022, Dr. Ragoza was honored with the Rising Star Award by the Connecticut State Dental Association, selected for those who have distinguished themselves though practice excellence, ethics, acts of service and contributions to the dental profession.

Passion and dedication to excellence for Dr. Ragoza arises from the needs of his patients. This is why he believes the foundation for exceptional care begins with a genuine relationship. Understanding the impact that optimal oral health could have on their lives, while respecting their desires, circumstances, and choices allows him to provide meaningful education and thoughtful expertise. Dr. Ragoza works with his patients in a collaborative way to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that aligns with their needs and goals so that they can look and feel their healthy best for a lifetime. His area of expertise revolves around complex, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary treatment planning with an emphasis on TMJ, muscle, airway, occlusal, functional, esthetic, and risk management.

Dr. Ragoza grew up in Fairfield, CT. Since an early age, he’s volunteered for many causes such as the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, Mission of Mercy, Operation Hope, Huskython, and Al’s Angels. He has traveled to third world countries to serve on mission trips and coached youth sports programs in underserved areas. He spent his summers lifeguarding on the beach and enjoyed playing football, wrestling, lacrosse, and rugby. He continued to play lacrosse and rugby in college and went on to win a national rugby championship after residency. Since hanging up his cleats, you’re likely to find Dr. Ragoza enjoying the beach, skiing, at the gym, and attempting to golf. He is also the proud commissioner of a dental fantasy football league.
