Dr. Kenny has practiced orthodontics in Connecticut for 30 + years. He received his undergraduate education at Stonehill College in North Easton Massachusetts, majoring in Biology and graduating with honors. He received his Dental degree as well as his orthodontic certificate at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington. While at UConn he performed research in growth and development and was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in March of 1988. He has maintained a practice in orthodontics in New Fairfield Connecticut until joining Sensitive Dental. Dr. Kenny is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Kenny is married to Dr. Mary Jo Kenny, his wife of 34 years. They have two children, Patrick, a Civil Engineer with the Federal Highways Administration and Moira, a Special Education teacher in Massachusetts.
In his free time, Dr. Kenny enjoys an active life of officiating scholastic and youth sports where he referees basketball, softball, baseball and volleyball. He also enjoys playing golf and going to the beach with his family.
